Weekly...

Hi Guys,

Hope you had a good week. My week has been so so.. I feel like a couple of weeks ago I had a terrible week, then a good week and now it's leveled out a little bit… Let’s put it this way. One of the highlights of my week was watching some little birds run around on an icy pond. They looked like they were having THE BEST TIME! Haha but that is what this year is all about. learning to appreciate the small things.

We made a huge cake at the weekend so have been slowly eating our way though that and I also sent some in some tupperware to my cousin just to try and get rid of some, she gave it a 8 ½ out of 10 so I was chuffed with that as they are very good bakers in that family. I’m hoping she sends something back in the tupperware ;) hint hint el!

I also uploaded a youtube video for the third week in a row! yay. She’s doing it! haha. You can check it out here.

What I watched:

It’s a Sin,

I feel like so many people are raving about this series but it really is that good and definitely needs to go straight to the top of your to watch list! It really is a bit of an eye opener in to something which isn’t massively spoke about and I think is still seen as such a taboo subject. The script, acting, filming, everything is just 10 /10

If you’re looking for some further watching my friend recommended some which we also really enjoyed learning from:

5B documentary on amazon prime tv

This podcast will kill you HIV / AIDs -

What I read:

Stephanie Yeboah.com Dissociative Identity Disorder And Me

I thought it was incredibly brave of Stephanie to open up to the internet in a very well written and informative way which was also so deeply personal.  I have never heard of DID and found it fascinating to read Stephanie’s experience as well as taking a lot away to think about.

New in:

This week I treated myself to some silicone reusable lids which are a replacement for using tin foil or cling film, we already use the wax cloths but needed something for liquids. We also got a cake dome, we thought we could use it to keep our bread fresh as well as cake!

I feel like you already know what I am going to put here but these boots .. yes yes yes the Long brown boots! Have transformed so many outfits in my wardrobe

And I also got myself some platform converse trainers, I used to have some of the black converse while I was at school - uni and have lost them somewhere along the way. When I was at school I stitched words and fairies into them like the EMO PUNK I thought I was… not sure I will be doing that in my new ones.

Anyway, I really love the platform in these converse as it makes them look slightly less clowney.

On the website it said get a size down as they come up big. I got my usual size, which is 5.5 and they fit perfectly :)
