As I am sat at the table staring out the window at the rain falling heavily, I am nice and cozy inside in my snuggled up in joggers and a jumper… good ol’ British summer weather hey!

I am spending the day sorting out my old hard drives, going through photos and trying to put them in some kind of order so they are easier to find. Included in that is a lot of holiday photos which looking back on have got me feeling nostalgic and yurning for travel.

I am the kind of person who loves to get away on a holiday and explore another part of the world, embrace different cultures and feel carefree for a week or two. We are hoping to be able to venture to new parts of the UK this summer instead but for now I thought I would show you a collection of images taken from places which I would rather be right now on this cold rainy summers day…
