...Or just glastonbury?
Summer is all about the festivals. Is it even summer if you don't get drunk in a field listening to your favorite bands? Whether you are glamping at Glastonbury, Loving life at Love Box, feeling sassy at SW4 or feeling more Field Day. The one thing that is for sure is that you want to be looking like the top festival goer! Here is where I can help...
A couple of weeks ago I was in the studio shooting for Nasty Gal, it was here that the most sparkley, glitterly, stand out, look how cool I am, MUST HAVE jacket there is came in to my life!
When this jacket got pulled off the rail from the new collection, there was gasps of ooo's and aarrrr's by all who saw. Like Magpies to silver we were all touching it, trying it on and shaking our thinggg in it.
Festivals are a place where you can dress out of your comfort zone, really push the boat out and go a bit crazy with your style. I mean no one in there right mind would wear wellies and shorts in everyday life however in a field surrounded by music and beer it is perfectly acceptable. Back in the day I always used to look at the festival style gods like Alexa Chung and Kate Moss, who normally wore slightly muted colours, denim, long green jackets, blues, with a white top but the festival fashion scene seems to be moving to bright colours, glitter, flowers, and now even tinsel?!
Sadly I think this is my first summer that I'm not festival-ling, I would love to team this jacket with denim shorts and a white top, a white or black dress, brightly coloured flower head band and lots of glitter and of course my trusted Hunter welington boots (who at the moment have 40% off don't you know?!)
