What I wear in the studio

As a photographer I find it really hard to dress for work, naturally my style quite girlie but for work I find myself becoming more and more tom boy as I opt for comfortable and practical over floaty and pretty.

When I was assisting I hated what I wore everyday because I didn't feel feminine enough or like my outfit even went together. For me what I wear is a big part of my confidence which is why sometimes it can take me so long to decide what to put on. Most my time in the morning is spent just staring at my wardrobe feeling like nothing is suitable. I know I need to start planning what to wear the night before but I never know what I’ll be in the mood to wear the next day and the weather man ALWAYS lies!

I recently purchased some trainers and they have been an absolute god send! I love that they are practical and you can put them with something more floaty or just a plain tee and still feel like you look like you’ve made a bit of an effort or at least slightly cool.. maybe.

My go to look for work and my work uniform is pretty much, Trainers, jeans and a t shit! simple but practical.
